The year is 2033. Mankind has suffered the inevitiable fate of nuclear war. Its cold outside. The air is toxic. It can no longer support human life. But there is one safehaven in Moscow. The metro. It doubles as a disaster relief area. There people survived from the nuclear fires, only to find some time later a world that is in a state of nuclear winter. Its moving to spring slowly but surely. The Human race has degraded, some of them are repeating history, such as the 4rth Reich. The Red Line is somewhat better. They control Hanza. The Rangers of the Order are those who believe in democracy and justice. They control Polis. There are creatures now. Things that never existed before. They will hunt you, always seeing you, always calculating when to strike. Very few people live outside small settlements in the Metro, Bandits, Army scouts, and more. A very few are known as Stalkers, they wear gasmasks and immerge from the Metro regularly to seek supplies for their families or themselves. They often sell what they find. The very few who come back to the Metro alive are worth their weight in gold. The 4rth Reich believes in purity of the human genes. They kill or enslave anyone who is deemed mutated. Alot of people are deemed mutated. The Red Line is old russia. They have large armies of inexperienced soldiers, they take strength in numbers. There are a few known as the Rangers of the Order. Alot of these men are ex-russian military. Spetsnaz, and more. You have survived the war. Now you must survive the aftermath. Welcome to the Metro, dweller.
